…no wonder I never knew. The anime already filtered a lot of this out. Then the adaptation to different languages further removed anything that was too “feminist”.

rei and haruka are perfect :( i think the anime had a very vague trace of ‘rei is lonely and sucks at friends but THAT’S FINE BY HER REALLY’ at the beginning, which i immediately latched on to, but damn i really wish there would’ve been more of that! and haruka seeing herself as superior to men is great and was already my headcanon so. i am glad. thank you manga
