chescaleigh: She was PHENOMENAL in “Beasts of the Southern Wild, and now Quvenzhané Wallis is the youngest-ever Best Actress Oscar nominee, at only 9 years old. This is of course pretty impressive, but it’s even more amazing when you realize she lied about her age to get the part! She told casting directors she was 6 instead of 5, just so she could meet the age requirement. I can’t wait to watch this talented girl’s career blossom!
